Who else BUT brilliant wunderkind Orson Welles would be fighting them.

I wonder if Max Shreck - the genius actor from the silent Nosferatu is a part of this tale.

Did you ever read about his acting 'process'. I love the movie they made about that tale with Willem Dafoe as Schreck and John Malcovich as director F.W. Murnau. It postulated that Shreck was a REAL vampire playing a vampire in the movie. As an actor, Max Shreck did strange things that would certainly have given people the impression that he was one of the undead.

Both 'Shadows' and 'Nosferatu' are amoung my favorite films.Kalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00663751053844271849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3374800096337534402.post-74834627785485496032010-10-30T21:37:09.093-07:002010-10-30T21:37:09.093-07:00Welles isn;t a character in the book, but there is...Welles isn;t a character in the book, but there is this shadowy, enigmatic character named Lime and the author though it appropriate that I used Welles as the reference for that character.

Nosferatu is one of my favourite movies. I had heard about Max Schrek's acting process and I liked the idea of Shadow of the Vampire, but was kind of disappointed with that film on the whole, despite Willem Dafoe's performanceM. D.
