WORK IN PROGRESS: FASTER DINOSAUR! KILL! KILL!

I've had to stop work on this while I concentrate on a paid assignment, but I thought I'd post what I've got so far. I started it with the idea of entering a contest but I think it will take longer than the contest's deadline. It's kind of a riff on a Russ Meyer theme.. what would a Russ Meyer/Ray Harryhousen have looked like if it had ever happened.

Obviously it needs much more work. What do you think so far?

...the Final Frontier and all that. Yeah...

I've been trying to bulk up my portfolio. Unfortunately there are no steroids that can help with that. I just gotta do and make sure it's all good.

Im quite happy with this one although the title is rather unimaginative. I wanted it to look like it wouldn't be out of place on the cover of ANALOG or ASIMOV'S SCIENCE FICTION. What do you think? This picture is heavily influenced by Vincent DiFate and the late Robert McCall.
